Superintendent's Message
Residents of Camden and Rockport have every reason to be very proud of our schools. The opening of the new middle school in September of 2020 marked the end of a 20 year journey to rebuild the three schools that Camden and Rockport students attend. Our communities have always supported education and it has made a difference. The elementary and middle schools are filled with passionate teachers and eager students engaging in learning. Our teachers are truly dedicated to the well-being of our students.  As a testament to our strength, year after year students leave grade 8 acknowledging their remarkable experience in middle school - a most uncommon reflection of those years. We have a remarkable school system in a beautiful spot on the earth and will continue listening and adapting in order to improve the experience for our students.

-Maria Libby, Superintendent

Camden Rockport Schools serve PreK-8 students in the seaside communities of Camden and Rockport, Maine. There are two schools in the district, a PreK-4 Elementary school located on Rt. 90 in Rockport near the high school and a 5 - 8 middle school located in downtown Camden. Students are pushed to grow, loved for who they are, and deeply engaged in learning. Both schools are driven by our mission - Be Kind. Work Hard. Keep Learning.
